Getting started

A complete onboarding path from "no account" to "your first audited inference" in roughly 15 minutes.

Prerequisites

• An organisational email address (we do not issue API keys to free-mail addresses for the Audit tier)
• A signed pilot agreement or service contract (we accept a 30-day free pilot for organisations with a credible CSRD reporting obligation; see pilot terms)
• A Python 3.10+ environment, or any HTTP client of your choice

The path

1. Authentication — issuing an API key and configuring your client
2. First inference call — a complete worked example with the receipt unpacked
3. Region selection — pinning to a region or letting us route by grid carbon intensity
4. Error taxonomy — the error codes you will see, what each means, how to handle each

What you will have at the end

A working API key, a verified inference call returning both a completion and a per-query environmental receipt, an understanding of which region the inference ran in and why, and a clear mental model of what to do when things go wrong.
